The Land

Only 2 hours north of New York City on a sacred mountain in Woodstock, NY.

ESKFF N.E.S.T. serves as a sanctuary that transforms, blending education, spirituality, and healing amidst the tranquil embrace of Mount Guardian's sacred forest, just a leisurely stroll from Woodstock, NY. This holistic learning center and mountain retreat, spanning 23 acres, transcends conventional boundaries, acting as both a haven for creative safety and an incubation station.

Nestled on Mount Guardian, the land is primarily forested by birch, oak, tulip poplar, and pine trees and teaming with fresh air, varieties of moss and mushrooms, medicinal and edible plants, and majestic wildlife. To the west lies a perennial stream that can be heard from the house and offers tranquility, clarity, and reflection for many guests’ healing journeys.

Immediately in front of the N.E.S.T., in the south is a garden where many flowers and vegetables are grown, often used for food, medicine, or ceremony when in season.

Sacred Territory

We recognize that this sacred land is the unceded territory of the Lenape, a people who have been here, are here and will continue with their wisdom and worldviews —may our presence of acknowledgment and gratitude be an honor to these host people. This sacred land, the elements, four leggeds, winged ones, and the nature spirits of this territory will support us on our journeys together.
