Integrating the magic of Sound instruments-For personal and professional practice
Every culture, ancient and modern has incorporated song/chant, drums and rattles, and sacred singing metals in their religious and healing ceremonies. The recognition of the power of certain sounds to affect consciousness was at the heart of rituals throughout history. Increasingly, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, hypnotherapists, yoga therapy instructors, and others in the healing arts have been intrigued by the idea of incorporating sound into their existing practice… When I began exploring the use of sound for meditative and healing purposes 50 years ago, the term “sound healer” was not around or at least not widely used. 1999 I released 4 CDs in the “Sounds for Healing” series. In the ensuing 25 years, this field has expanded exponentially with a considerable uptick in the number of people offering sound healing experiences and training in sound healing. In this two day immersion, learned practical techniques as well as theory from my decades of experience
