Hudson Valley Psychedelics Society - Monthly Meetup

Join the Hudson Valley Psychedelic Society, Forest Haven, and The N.E.S.T. for a monthly community gathering, this February 27th at the N.E.S.T.

This event is designed to foster open dialogue, share experiences & build community support with the fascinating world of psychedelics.

This month we welcome John & Angelina to speak on the topic of:

Plant medicine and the creative process

Every cell in the human body was part of a plant at some point. As an ancient life form on this planet existing billions of years more often than humans, we have much to learn from the substance that makes up our physical being. Creative energy is a constant state of affairs, from the choice of which way to get out of bed in the morning and how to start your day to the conversation you choose to have with a loved one and the epic song or novel you plan to work on later in the day. Plant medicine opens up the realm of imagination by freeing it.

Often our imaginations are caught in the past or the future ruminating about what was or could be. Plant medicine brings us into our hearts to the pure presence where our cells and every aspect of our physical being can receive the unfettered transmission of creative inspiration. We will discuss what this means and how this can inspire and transform all aspects of our creative life.

About Facilitators:

Angelina and John Zay have been together for 18 years. The couple found common ground musically 6 years ago when they began making live music for the psychedelic space. The process has not only expanded their pallets artistically in ways they couldn’t predict but chipped away at any rigidity in their self-identity allowing for a more expansive sense of self and belonging in this world. The 2 will be performing some highlights of their original music as well as some traditional songs.

There is no charge for this event.

Donations are welcome.

Please bring a healthy snack to share.
